Receiving the John Nicol Award

Anglesey was next up, a circuit which I hadn't even seen on TV, but what a track! With the beautiful weekend weather, it  made it a cracking couple of days racing. We ran strongly all weekend, had another top 5 on the Sunday and consistently ran in the top 10. Another nice surprise was the John Nicol award. John founded the Anglesey Circuit and was a staunch supporter of the Legends series until his untimely passing.

Oulton Park

Next was Oulton Park, I must admit this to being my favourite circuit of the year, fast and technical, a real driver's circuit. I had fantastic races, even briefly led my first race, and finished 4th overall on the day. In fact I missed out on a podium by 5 points, or if you take the results of the final, 32 thousandths of a second! Typical Legends!
